June

Responsible style, food + interiors

  • Plastic free-living: Ways to make positive steps to help save our seas in the lead up to the World Ocean Day (8 June). Goodbye plastic packaging, hello reusable alternatives.
  • Responsible beauty: Naked products (no packaging) and waterless beauty to make-your-own toiletries and cosmetics.
  • Sustainable style: Think sustainable brands and materials (bamboo +2215%)* to rentable looks. It’s time to highlight your green credentials.
  • Shore thing (interiors): Make waves on Pinterest. From scalloped headboards in the bedroom to fish scale tiles in the bath — let’s look to the shores for inspiration.
  • Vegan home: Help Pinners swap their leather, wool and sheepskin home accessories for synthetic or plant-based alternatives.
  • Sustainable seafood: Offer tips on sustainable seafood. Think insightful infographics and labelling guidance to sustainable seafood recipe inspiration.
  • Zero waste food: Recipes that make the most of leftovers and freezer hacks to cupboard friendly food and reusable packaging. Keep that keep-cup and fabric bag handy.
  • Grow up the wall: As released in our Pinterest 100 trends to try in 2019, Pinners are looking for new creative ways to display their cacti (+235%)*.

Father’s Day

  • Start the day with dad: Kick his day off with a brekkie worth getting out of bed for. Think creatively with funny breakfast faces to fully loaded breakfast tacos. Anyone for hot sauce?
  • Meals to make with dad: Spend some quality time together. Think slow-cooked sliders and homemade pizza to vegan-friendly mac and cheese and doner kebabs.

Let’s go outside

  • Outside room: How to create an outside room. From fashionable rattan benches and hanging chairs to waterproof furniture and plant box stands.
  • Garden entertaining: From built-in barbecues to makeshift garden shed bars — Pinners are mixing up how they host at home. Not to mention the food combinations — vegan BBQ bowls to cauliflower crust pizzas.
  • The good life: Growing your own fruit and veggies to allotment and gardening tips. A great time to eat with the seasons.

Pride Jubilee

This year will be Pride’s 50th year. Here’s how to be louder and prouder…

  • Wear it with Pride: We invite Pinners to join the festivities with everything from multi-coloured manicures to fabulously expressive looks that Pinners can wear with pride. Provide a 101 ways to celebrate that love is love — in July and all year round.
  • Gender neutral looks: Pinners are looking for ways to express their individuality to the world. Especially when it comes to beauty. Embrace the inclusivity movement with products, tips and tutorials that are non-binary.

Summer lovin’

  • Summer nails: This is one of our most popular searches in the Summer. Help Pinners get mani and pedi ready with the latest lacquers.
  • Weather all looks: Surprise travel (+192%)* is trending up. From hiking boots to humid hair management, packing for all eventualities is the new closet and cosmetics conundrum.
  • Summer + Swimwear edits: From flattering onesies and beach cover-ups to floral prints and floaty kaftans. Curate this seasons hottest looks.
  • Picnic like a pro — Eco picnic ideas (no more cling film) to first date finger food.
  • Game, set, match: Wimbledon inspired food. Strawberries and cream popsicles to Pimm’s cheesecake — what’s the next game-changing recipe twist?
