This update is regarding claiming your social accounts.
As per the update that I’ve received via the Pinterest community, now creators have the ability to claim not just their websites but also their Instagram accounts on the platform.
This means that creators can establish a direct link between their Instagram profiles and their Pinterest accounts, ensuring that they receive proper credit for their content shared across platforms.
This update offers several benefits for creators.
- Firstly, by claiming their Instagram accounts, creators can strengthen their online presence and increase their visibility on Pinterest.
It allows them to showcase their Instagram content to a broader audience and potentially attract more followers and engagement.
- Secondly, claiming their Instagram accounts enables creators to gain attribution for existing Pins that link to their Instagram content.
This attribution helps to ensure that creators receive recognition for their work and encourages others to discover more of their content.
Here’s how you can claim your Instagram account on Pinterest!
- Sign in to your Pinterest Business Account.
- Click on your profile picture and then select the ‘Settings’ option.
- Now, on the left-hand side you’ll see the ‘Claimed Accounts’ option. Click on that and you’ll see two options — Websites & Instagram.
Click on the ‘Claim’ option and then follow the steps provided.
