We have some new product updates and new features to share! October has been a super exciting month and our team has been working hard to improve our platform for you all!
Leaderboards
With the launch of Playfull Challenges (Versus and Co-Op), we thought it would be necessary to include a leaderboard. You can find the leaderboards in your activity page!
The leaderboards allow you to look at the top 10 Playfull members with the most challenge victories by this week, this month, and all time. You can also filter by specific type of challenge mode in SR, ARAM, or TFT. Happy challenging!
Playfull Challenges Interface
We’ve made some design changes to the Playfull Challenges interface. The new design for Playfull Challenges is a lot more intuitive and you can choose between Versus or Co-Op and your game mode all in the Challenges page.
Additionally, when you enter a challenge you are taken to a matchmaking queue to show you all the details of your match and your opponent.
Badges and Weekly Sweepstakes
We’ve implemented new badges that you can unlock. Currently, there are a total of 16 badges that you can earn for different achievements like “Complete an SR/ARAM Daily Mission” or “Win 20 Versus Challenges”. You can find these in the Challenges page!
When you win a Versus Challenge or a Co-Op Challenge once, you will unlock a badge that gives you exclusive access to our new Weekly Sweepstakes in the Playfull Shop! These sweepstakes are 100 Playpoints per entry and you can enter as many times as you would like for some really cool gaming peripherals like an Elgato Stream Deck or a Razer Basilisk v2 Wired Gaming Mouse.
Playfull Bot on Discord
Our engineers helped add Playfull Bot to our Discord server. With Playfull Bot, you can create and join Co-Op challenges all from the comfort of Discord! Head on over to #🤖bot-commands and run !pf help to get started.
Community Updates
Goldenglue vs Pobelter
We held a friendly 5v5 with 8 Playfull Members and LCS Pro Players — Goldenglue and Pobelter! It was a lot of fun to watch and put together. Be sure to check out some highlights coming out soon on our Twitter.
