As of November 25, 2019, users can complete the final step of acquiring Camp Shares (CS) by sending PLG tokens to the CS Staking Address.
Camp Shares Help You Earn
To review how CS can be beneficial for you, please review this post. Owning Camp Shares allows you to be a Moderator, earning regular pay that can grow as the platform does.
Step 1 of 2: Determine Your Eligibility
Residents of the United States are currently restricted from holding Camp Shares or receiving any of their benefits.
All others may register their intent to hold CS here:
Moderator Registration Form (https://forms.gle/vsuuB1fcMqaFsFqX8)
Pro tip: Register and complete your transfer quickly and receive favorable exchange rates according to the following schedule:
November: 1 PLG = 1.25 CS (25% bonus)
December: 1 PLG = 1.15 CS (15% bonus)
January: 1 PLG = 1.05 CS (5% bonus)
February: 1 PLG = 1 CS (no bonus)
Step 2 of 2: Send PLG to the Staking Address
Send your PLG to our Staking Address so we can credit you the appropriate amount of CS.
The official Pledgecamp Staking Address is: 0xD93103be3A5A4EBC4e90A6aC598C1473147612a8
CAUTION: DO NOT SEND PLG FROM AN EXCHANGE ACCOUNT.
MAKE SURE YOU TRUST AND VALIDATE ANYONE WHO TELLS YOU TO SEND PLG.
ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK THIS POST AND ASK OUR OFFICIAL ADMINS IF YOU HAVE DOUBTS.
After sending the PLG to our Staking Address, we will manually review your Moderator Registration Form and validate your transaction within 72 hours. This email will serve as your official receipt. (Soon we will release a web application will allow you to see your CS balance in real-time).
To avoid any delay in receiving credit for your transaction, please read the important points below.
Important Points:
- The ERC20 wallet address used to send PLG must match the address you register in your Moderator Registration Form.
- We are not responsible for loss from scammers or user mistakes when executing the transaction. Always double-check and use good judgment.
- Any false statements on your Moderator Registration Form will invalidate your claim to hold CS.
- Any attempt to send PLG to the staking address without first completing the Moderator Registration Form will invalidate your claim to hold CS. Your PLG may or may not be recoverable and if returned to you, and may be returned minus transaction fees.
- Private Investors under vesting schedule: If you have committed to stake PLG on the Moderator Registration Form, you will be eligible to receive a bonus conversion rate, even before your tokens are fully vested. In order for this bonus to remain valid, you must send us at least 10% of your total PLG commitment each month your tokens are vested, with the full amount due before your vesting period is over.
For example, let’s say you wrote on the form in August that you would like to stake 100,000 PLG. Each month that your tokens vest, you must send a minimum of 10%, or 10,000 PLG to our staking contract. You must send this minimum each month, however, you must send and satisfy your original 100,000 PLG commitment by the time your tokens are fully vested.
If you successfully do so on time, you will earn the full bonus conversion rate for the 100,000 PLG you committed in August. - An official CS conversion and status tracker website is coming soon. Currently, you will receive an email from us with 72 hours of you sending your tokens to the staking wallet. This email serves as your official receipt and CS status.
- If you would like to cancel your stake and convert your CS back to PLG, you may do so by contacting hello@pledgecamp.com in writing. The conversion process will take 30 days. You may lose the bonus conversion rate tokens you initially received as part of our early promotion. You may only receive PLG back to the original wallet you sent it from.
- After becoming a Moderator and CS holder, compensation payments from listing fees and Initial Moderator Fund will begin after the official launch of projects on the platform. All PLG tokens earned in this way will be earned into your Pledgecamp wallet on the platform. From there, they can be transferred to private ERC20 wallets as desired.
