Plotly was at CDAO Chicago this month! Mingo and Abe had the amazing opportunity to engage in two days of insightful sessions, networking, and exploring advancements in data and analytics. They showcased Dash Enterprise and shared how Plotly can enhance data visualization and analytical capabilities. We appreciate everyone who stopped by to chat with us!

Ai4 2024

The Plotly team recently attended Ai4 in Las Vegas! Rick, Gagan, and Teresa had an enriching experience exploring new developments in generative AI and discovering best practices shaping the future of artificial intelligence. AWS Summit Toronto

The Plotly team will be at AWS Summit Toronto! On September 11, the event will delve into how advancements in generative AI, cloud technology, and data analytics are transforming industries and propelling organizations to new heights.

Dave Gibbon, Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, and Domenic Ravita, VP of Marketing, will represent Plotly at the event. Chat with them to see how Plotly Dash Enterprise enables data teams to collaborate, customize, and control large-scale interactive data applications.

➡️ Summer Dash App-Building Challenge — This summer, Plotly’s app challenge is focused on the retail industry. We challenge the community to build a Dash app around the Amazon purchases dataset. Submit your visualization by September 1, 2024 for a chance to win a cash prize!

➡️ Figure Fridays — It’s been over a month since Plotly Community Manager, Adam Schroeder, introduced Figure Fridays! Every week, we’ve been sharing a new dataset along with a sample figure, and the community response has been amazing. ⚡ Product Updates

  • Dash Enterprise 5.4 (blog) — Explore new collaboration tools, customization features, and improved control introduced in the 5.4 update.
  • Plotly.py 5.23.0 (changelog) — Update IntegerValidator to handle extras option to allow supporting additional keyword values.
  • Plotly.js 2.34.0 (changelog) — Add x0shift, x1shift, y0shift, y1shift to shapes to add control over positioning of shape vertices on (multi-)category axes.
