June was full of events and milestones for us! Let’s recap what we got up to 👇
Testnet V3.0: Schedule & Events
First and foremost, in June we started the rollout of the final Testnet V3.0. As we are releasing multiple features, we decided to do it gradually over the summer. The full schedule and dates we are trying to stick to are here. To kickstart we had an AMA answering all the community questions about our Testnet V3.0 schedule and done a demo of the first Testnet feature. We also announced a special program for beta-testers and are choosing among great candidates who will become the first Polkadex Brand Ambassadors.
Return of PDEX Staking
This one is definitely a crowd-pleaser. Since our last staking program on KuCoin finished we received a ton of requests to prolong it. So, the drumroll — a new staking program that doubled in size and duration! APR is also a bit higher this time.
Media Spotlight
In June Polkadex got on the radar! We were featured in Blockonomi’s detailed project review and CoinMarketCap’s deep dive into Polkadex , mentioned on CryptoDaily as the Polkadot project that makes DeFi accessible for crypto newbies and got a dedicated segment in Coinpedia’s article about the importance of cross-chain interoperability. Our CEO, Gautham J, gave an interview to AMBCrypto where he talked about Polkadex. Ivan on Tech Academy also helped their readers to understand Polkadex better in an in depth article.
Partners
We keep growing and nurturing our ecosystem. This month we added a new partner — the educational platform MarketSquare, where Polkadex will be featured as one of the top Polkadot projects. Here is the intro video that will be on our official page once the website is live. We also hosted a joint event with our partners, KILT and Fractal, where we discussed how DeFi can transform with decentralized KYC and Social KYC.
Articles
We keep explaining Polkadex bit by bit on our Medium. In June we covered how Polkadex differs from other DEXes and how Decentralized KYC makes us more competitive.
Social & Community
In the end of June we launched our official Discord channel and reached over 100 subscribers in the first couple of hours! We also decided to give back to our supportive community and announced a program for top Polkadexers across our social media platforms. Make sure to join our social media pages to stay in the know and also you can actively participate to receive some nice perks every now and then.
