Acala / Karura

• Acala Network welcomes Meta Defender. Its launch on Acala will enable Polkadot users to leverage trade DOT staking yields and yields in general in the ecosystem. Read more.
• Acala has been informed that live scams offer ACA airdrop and token events. There are no ongoing airdrops nor token events; please beware of unofficial Acala representatives — and always confirm info on our official channels.
• A referendum was passed to upgrade the Acala network. The upgrade includes Substrate/Cumulus/Polkadot to v1.0.0 and ACA staking pallet.
• Karura is also upgrading to v2.20, featuring Substrate/Cumulus/Polkadot to v1.0.0 and KAR staking pallet.

Ontology

• Ontology had an action-packed week, from nearing completion on L2 Sequencing to engaging in thrilling community discussions.

Phala / Khala

• Phala is excited to share its latest work on Lens Protocol. The team is upgrading the LensAPI oracle to Lens v2, completely redesigning the architecture to work with Actions. This opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

• Pulsar Finance now supports Moonbeam and Moonriver with its cross-chain portfolio manager.
• The next evolution for governance on Moonbeam is here. The team is pleased to announce that a new user-friendly option for delegated voting is now available on the network: GLMR holders can now easily use their tokens to delegate voting power for on-chain votes and participate in shaping the project's future through a fresh new interface.
• A brand new Moonbuilders Academy course is now available. This course content will help you gain a deep understanding of blockchain tech, on-chain data, business intelligence, and cutting-edge analytics tools.

Composable Finance / Picasso

• Picasso has integrated XCM connections with Astar and Shiden on Centauri. Users can now utilize it to conduct transfers of ASTR and SDN to Picasso, with pools coming soon to the Pablo DEX.
• Proposal #612 was put to a vote on Composable Finance. It stands for implementing Centauri as the canonical route to the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystems for Osmosis.
• Composable proposes to Join the ATOM Economic Zone (AEZ) and adopt Interchain Security (ICS) from the Cosmos Hub for the Composable Cosmos Chain (formerly known as Centauri). Details.

Manta / Calamari

• If you have not connected with Manta’s local communities, here is your chance.
• In 2023, Manta engaged four audit firms to conduct audits of various components of Manta Atlantic, Manta’s L1, for private on-chain identity and compliant private transacting. With the audits completed, Manta is preparing for its next development chapter. Atlantic components are audited, and Pacific testnet is growing in adoption. Stay tuned for next steps.
