We love hic et nunc! The art is amazing, inspiring and so diverse. However once it leaves the front page of the site it’s difficult to find. We curate works that we find and share them daily via our twitter account. We’ve also started this medium publication to help aid discovery of amazing artists and their work. We do artist profiles as well as compiling weekly posts of the collections that we’re obsessed with. This past week we found ourselves constantly refreshing the following collections.

Khyati Trehan
By day, Khyati is a Senior Communication Designer at IDEO Munich, where she brings clarity, movement, and identity to the intangibles. By night, she wears the hat of an independent visual artist giving form to feelings. Her clients include Samsung, Absolut, Print, Apple, WeWork, IDEO, Adobe, Instagram and Snapchat. Anna Malina
“As I came rather slowly and gradually to the techniques I use at the moment, it’s actually difficult to say what inspired me the most to do it. My main source of inspiration is film. I watch all kinds of films all the time and I still remember the moment when I saw scenes from a hand-painted film from the beginning of the 20th century for the first time. I couldn’t believe my eyes! People would paint films frame by frame in different colors — what an incredible amount of work! And the obvious artificiality of the colors — the way they do not perfectly match the outlines of the figures and spill onto their surroundings — it filled me with so much joy.” (from an interview with Anna — read here)
