Crypto Receiving and Cross-Chain Swap Made Effortless in Portkey

Portkey is excited to announce the release of V1.16.0, featuring optimisations such as an enhanced asset receiving experience, a seamless cross-chain swap feature, and a more enjoyable chatting space. Users can now acquire their favorite crypto assets, like ELF, from various sources with just a few clicks. For deposits, a convenient option allows for cross-chain transactions and token swaps simultaneously. Additionally, the newly introduced reporting and blocking functionality ensures that Portkey remains a friendly and engaging space for all users.
Receiving Assets
With an increasing number of tokens and NFTs being issued on aelf, there’s never been a better time to dive into the aelf ecosystem and experience effortless digital asset management with the Portkey wallet. To enhance user experience in receiving assets, Portkey has revamped the token receiving page, offering various functions tailored to different scenarios.
When receiving the ELF token, for instance, the interface comprises three tabs: “QR Code,” “Exchanges,” and “Buy.” To receive ELF from other Portkey addresses, you can conveniently scan the code in the “QR Code” tab or easily copy the recipient address. Since Mainnet ELF tokens are listed on several top-tier exchanges, the “Exchanges” tab provides an option for users to seamlessly transfer ELF from their exchange accounts to the Portkey wallet, without the need for manual removal of prefix and suffix. Additionally, ELF is supported in Portkey as an on-ramping cryptocurrency, allowing you to purchase ELF directly using fiat currencies. This option is located in the “Buy” tab.
Cross-Chain Swap
Recognising the need for both token swaps and cross-chain transfers, Portkey seamlessly integrates these features into our product, making cross-chain token conversion a reality. With this new feature, users can send token A from network X and receive token B in their Portkey account, with the conversion and bridging happening smoothly at the current ratio, saving time and costs.
Simply select any token that supports cross-chain swaps, such as USDT, and click “Receive.” Then, visit the “Deposit” tab and click “Select deposit network,” where you can choose from which chain you want to deposit USDT into your Portkey account, like Ethereum, Tron, or Solana. If you wish to convert other assets to USDT, click the token logo in the “From” section and select the token to be converted, such as SGR. The swap will occur based on the latest ratio, ensuring a smooth experience while enjoying the best rates.
Reporting and Blocking in Chats
Since the launch of the chat feature, the Portkey community has enjoyed enhanced engagement and connection through diverse functions like crypto box and direct transfer. As more users experience the convenience of these chats, the need for a mechanism to maintain a positive environment has become apparent. To address this, Portkey now enables users to report objective content and block abusive users, fostering a more connected and friendly community.
Users can now long-press or right-click on a message deemed offensive or inappropriate and report it for reasons such as spam or violence. Once a report is submitted, the Portkey team will investigate and take appropriate action. In addition, with the message block feature, you can easily prevent messages from certain users. To do this, simply click on the user’s avatar, select “More,” and then choose “Block User”. If you change your mind, you can always unblock them via the same route.
