Empowering developers and users with fully decentralized smart contract automation

We are excited to announce the launch of the PowerAgent on the Ethereum mainnet, an innovative automation network that aims to bring fully decentralized, reliable, and cost-effective automation to the web3.

This launch marks a significant milestone for PowerPool, as it brings its powerful automation capabilities to one of the largest and most active blockchain networks in the world. With Ethereum’s robust infrastructure and vibrant community, PowerPool has the potential to make a significant impact on the DeFi ecosystem.

PowerAgent V2 launch on Ethereum

In collaboration with DappNode, PowerPool is gearing up to launch the PowerAgent V2 Keepers network to the public.

Get ready, as PowerAgent will be going LIVE on Ethereum December 21, 2023!

Thanks to our partnership with DappNode, setting up a PowerAgent Keeper node is now easier than ever. With just a few clicks in the DappNode UI, you can start earning extra ETH by providing automation services.

Join the special AMA session hosted by DappNode on December 21 to learn more about PowerPool and how to easily set up a PowerAgent Keeper node.

Similar to PowerAgent’s launch on Gnosis Chain, the deployment of PowerAgent on the Ethereum mainnet will be divided into three consecutive phases:

  1. Pre-deployment (closed testnet)
  2. Mainnet alpha (open testnet)
  3. Full launch

Pre-deployment phase

At this stage, PowerPool’s team will continue conducting internal testing of the contract and node network components. Additionally, Ethereum node runners currently operating Keepers on Sepolia and Gnosis will be gradually invited to migrate to Ethereum to assist with testing.

To enable Ethereum node runners to register as Keepers on the Ethereum mainnet, PowerPool’s staff will manually distribute test CVP tokens required for initial staking in the Agent contract.

Throughout this phase, PowerPool will actively engage with new Ethereum validators/node runners through AMA sessions, joint marketing campaigns with partners, and various threads to onboard them into the network in the next phase.

Mainnet Alpha phase

During this phase of the Ethereum deployment, PowerPool’s focus will be on expanding the network by onboarding a sufficient number of independent Ethereum validators/node runners to PowerAgent.

In Mainnet Alpha, the PowerAgent contract will continue operating in testing mode using test tokens for Keepers’ staking to protect our community members from financial losses in case of any potential bugs.

Another significant focus during this phase will be continuous marketing activities and informational campaigns aimed at educating the Ethereum community about PowerAgent, its capabilities, and value proposition for developers, DAOs, and users.

Furthermore, during this phase, recipients of the PowerPool Builder Grant who have proposed projects launched on Ethereum will be invited to migrate from Sepolia and approve their developments on the mainnet.

If you are a blockchain developer and wish to integrate a layer of decentralized automation into your project, you can apply for a PowerPool Builder Grant.

Full launch

Once all the intricacies of PowerAgent’s operation on Ethereum have been meticulously addressed and the team is confident in the flawless functioning of all its components and the cryptoeconomic model, PowerPool will deploy the complete version of the Agent contract, which will necessitate the use of actual CVP tokens for initial Keepers’ staking.

This deployment will signify the full launch phase of PowerAgent on the Ethereum mainnet, propelling the network into a fully permissionless state.

PowerPool will extend its support to Ethereum node runners who actively participated in the PowerAgent testnet on Sepolia or Gnosis by providing them with PowerPool Node Runner Grants, covering the initial 1000 CVP required to register as a Keeper in the network.

Looking ahead, Powerpool will direct its efforts towards attracting builders to join PowerPool’s ecosystem and continue disbursing Builder Grants, all with the aim of boosting the adoption of PowerAgent automation.

At this stage, we will be fully dedicated to engaging in and organizing hackathons, workshops, conferences, and other events to attract and connect with new builders and grant recipients, ultimately expanding the PowerAgent network and realizing our objectives of delivering a fully automated web3 experience for users across the Ethereum ecosystem.

PowerAgent in a nutshell

PowerPool is dedicated to providing the broader web3 community with essential automation infrastructure through its PowerAgent V2 automation network. This powerful, highly customizable, and fully decentralized tool has the power to automate on-chain activities for protocols, dApps, and retail users in an efficient manner.

In this network, a user (Job-owner) can register an automation task with either a time-based (Interval Job) or custom logic-based (Resolver Job) execution condition. The network then assigns a PowerAgent node (Keeper) to the task, which continuously monitors its eligibility for execution and calls the target contract when conditions are met.

This architecture ensures reliable execution at a low cost, allowing Job-owners to register tasks and focus on core protocol operations for developers and daily business for retail users without worrying about task execution.

On the path to enriching the Ethereum ecosystem

PowerAgent’s launch on Ethereum is a major step forward for decentralized automation in web3, and we are thrilled to be at the forefront of this exciting development.

We believe that by being the “zero-layer” automation infrastructure provider, PowerPool has the potential to become a key player in the Ethereum ecosystem, and we are excited to see how it will empower Ethereum-native protocols to build novel and intricate automated products for the benefit of their users. We encourage anyone interested in automated DeFi to explore PowerPool and see how it can benefit their own financial strategies.
