Why Going To Heaven Shouldn’t Be The Only Reason, We Humans Serve and Believe In God
Today am breaking the myth and also open your eyes why perhaps you too believe and serve God.
So many people have been enslaved by a place believed to be a place of joy, happiness, and unending happiness. Even our great religious leaders and thought thinkers tell their followers about a place of peace free From earthly problems in the future. Even those who believe in some thing else think so too.
Now, can you seat down for a minute and ask yourself what is the main reason you serve and believe in God apart from going to heaven. Trust me you will find out that it may be it. You can please write it down to review it and see why and how you have been enslaved too.
As a Christian, and also a child of God, who believes in Christ as my savior too, I think this believe system doesn't always resonate with me and feel right, because I feel we cheat God. Because I have seen so many religious worshipers be it a Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hinduism, Taoism,etc all point at one thing a happy ending where the good people of God who does his will end in eternal happiness and others ending in eternal condemnation. Making some religionist/ believers becoming more than extremists and only see that goal, preach that goal and do nothing else.
As a free thinker I believe this doesn't tally well with God because and he feel sad seeing us doing this to ourselves. Right from Genesis if your a Christian and in other religions God's intention was not to punish humans and serve others with lasting happiness.
God himself never wanted humans to serve him for what he had for us in store for the future (heaven's sake) but to truly love him and serve him for Who he is, as the creator of the heavens and the earth. He wanted humans to serve him at of will Without attaching any rewards and that's why in the book of Joshua he spoke through Joshua, asking the people to choose whom they will serve and urge them through Joshua it is better they serve him rather than the gods of the gentiles whom they are about to conquer.
God is a lovely and loving God. If only we truly believe who he is. Trusting his being without attaching any preaching or teaching, any conditions of one simple but hard thing that points at a home called Heaven.
Don't get me wrong. I believe in heaven but one thing I am pointing is that serving God shouldn't come with one strong reward and leaving others which God has promised apart from heaven.
Whenever I see people gather in any religion setting and their is any call to action it is always activated by the one thing,"...your name will be removed from the Book of hell...and inserted in the book of life(heaven)". Therefore, so many religious leaders emphasize on that, forgetting other things God expect from us. This has made so many people think heaven is the only goal God has for human kind. As many turn to God because of that one reason…
This is to say that what if God never send Jesus and other prophets in other religions and evoke the a place called heavens we humans would have been worse and forget who God really his. Furthermore, so many religion worshipers concentrate all their efforts on this part forgetting the other areas which can bring long lasting happiness as we serve God and do his bidding before our demise.
I am not trying to say or go against any religion setting or believe but to remind us that the only reason we serve God shouldn't be about that goal,HEAVEN.
Come to think of it as a human will you ever be happy if one the major reasons people serve you is because of certain things you have or what they will gain from you at the end.The question is now what if that was never there, what happens. When You found out you become nobody to these people. Believe me finding out will not only make you unhappy but makes you think of the unthinkable.
How much more do you feel when people, we humans take it as our number one priority.

After all King Solomon in Ecclesiastes wrote, in chapter twelve of the ending verse that the whole Duty of a man is to serve him not just to go to heaven but it is our daily priority to please him and honour him. Remember, the verse says, it is our duty which means we should serve God expecting nothing in return, rather it should be a lifestyle that comes inwardly and the later rewards will not only about Earthly rewards but heaven too. God wants us to love him as he loves us too.
Therefore, I urge you as my readers to see from a different perspective and think differently from the crowd. Many believes and actions needed to be questioned before they're even accepted by you. You don't have to follow the crowd. Be different,think differently, see different,talk different, imagine different and different you question as you learn. There are so many things needed to be Confronted wisely and practice.
