1. What are you? What makes you different?
- Todoed is a new kind of a seamless todo listing tool, assisting the user on any text spotted anywhere on the web browser and (soon), any device, as if that text is instantly a delegate-able todo item first. Seamless? Yes!
- The clear strength of this product is in it’s simplicity and novelty, hard to find nowadays, in productivity tools. Most of them are rip offs of each other just designed differently. Todoed is fundamentally different and that makes it very worthy of attention for acquisition from extraordinary companies. Most of these apps work on input basis, as in you have to physically type it up then submit it to save a task, whereas through the chrome web browser we are extracting the info and adding it to your / your coworkers task list just by highlighting and a right click from wherever the first instance of your task was discussed. The difference here is that the flow of that discussion is not being broken and yet you are able to record that task at that very instance.
2. Where are you based?
- Our core team of three (Nishchal, Dhaval and myself) have recently moved in together in Lucknow, in the first week of this year. But truly speaking we are truly based on http://todoed.slack.com
3. What platforms are you on?
- Todoed is now only on chrome, as an extension to the browser.
- Started to lay the foundation of Todoed on Android this feb ‘16. Will be out with it soon!
- We are also building invisible layers of productivity on gmail, slack and whatsapp.
- Todoed for other browsers (i.e. and firefox is still some time away)
4. Can I contribute remotely?
- Yes. Before we moved in together to build from Lucknow, we were actually working remotely. We have a virtual office on Slack, so as long as you can keep your communication at light speed just like we do, you’re ace.

12. Will I get a salary?
- No. Your compensation will be in stocks. So if we are a billion dollar company and you own 1% of our stocks, you will be worth a 10 million dollars. Your stocks would be transferred to you upon company incorporation if you have already been a part of our journey till now. Or after a period of time we have agreed to work on till you have proved to be a significant part of the ten people tribe we are building to take Todoed to million’s. Monthly salary is one of the worst addictions. So we don’t encourage it.
- What you see and hear about Todoed from me today is still an iota. There is a lot more depth and potential of impact of Todoed than any other productivity tool in the past. This tool can change what people are productive upon, rather than just them being productive. It can also help them achieve something important to be productive upon. Todoed can do that, and that is a huge change. A change like that could be worth many, many billions. But thats all the future. If you can be that person who can team up with the ten people we are looking to build this company with, then you can expect almost a tenth of the company to be yours. Which means you have to really match the effort and dedication put forth by the three of us, and you have a lot of time to get to that point.
By the time we get there, if you can be a significant part of the team that gets Todoed there then the tenth of the company belongs to you. Until then as we go along we will figure out how far you go in that slab.
13. Have you raised investment?
- No. We are aligning ourselves to raise complete first funding round by May 2016, for aggressive growth.
14. What inspires you?
- We are on a mission to making todo listing, delegating and organizing be absolutely seamless on your mobile and desktop. Seamless to your browsing, thinking and chatting habits. In short, we would like to leave the world more productive before we leave it. That is why we are further building this product.
