Here’s How The Gays Can Help Hillary or Bernie Win New Hampshire

So we’ve gotten past the outlandish headlines, coin tossing and finger pointing stage of the post-Iowa caucuses and low and behold, we are still alive. Hillary Clinton may have won Iowa by a hair, but we are less than 7 days away from the second primary in election season 2016, New Hampshire. By the looks of the polls supplied by RealClearPolitics below, it’s just as close as Iowa was, with Bernie Sanders in 17.5 point lead (+/-5):
In all reality, it’s money that determines the outcomes in the majority of these state primaries and we at the Pride PAC are no dummies to this understanding of how our democracy and election process works. Part of the reason we started the Pride PAC was to prove to the American LGBT and allied voting electorate that if we use the power of our purse, we can compete in our election system and ultimately progress full equality to all of our brothers and sisters. This can only happen if we actually pool our resources in innovative and creative ways to not only show our financial support, but also our visual support. We are accustom to flying our pride flag and wearing our pride on our backs, which is why we paired with a local LGBT artist in Los Angeles to create our first election campaign support t-shirt line to help raise money for our Democratic Presidential hopefuls.
The Artist: Bobby Bowden
Bobby Bowden is a local LA based artist who specializes in pop art with a passion for politics. His art consists of bold splashes of color, using imagery of today’s pop icons. We can compare his artwork to that of a modern day Andy Warhol with the depth of Bansky. Below is a screenshot of the ‘Art’ section of his website:
Instead of just soliciting donations for each campaign, we wanted to be creative and have a local LGBT artist design two shirts, one for each candidate that captured the essence of their primary run. They will both need your help to win the New Hampshire Primary, and by purchasing one of our special edition ‘Hillary by Bobby’ or ‘Bernie by Bobby’ T-shirts, you’ll be contributing to helping both of them win in the primary on Tuesday. 100% of the proceeds to Pride PAC will go to each candidate in their fight for the Democratic nomination and New Hampshire’s 24 delegates. Not only do we believe in supporting local artist at the Pride PAC, but we also believing in waving our pride flag and standing up for what we believe in.
