On September 17, 2019, at 5:30 pm in Embarcadero (Down Town San Francisco), Prifina is hosting an invitation-only event for technology leaders who are based in the Bay Area. The goal of the event is to facilitate the debates about data privacy and new user-centric data models.

More particularly, in the past few years, individuals and companies have become increasingly aware of the value of private data. Regulators across the globe, have enacted new sets or laws such as GDPR or CCPA granting individuals certain data rights. At the same time, companies now have to implement new solutions to systematically manage the data they possess.

Prifina’s event will focus on several specific topics related to the possibilities for companies to build meaningful relationships based on data obtained with customer consent as well as various opportunities to offer a more personalized service and value their customers.

Among the speakers, we have leading attorneys working with major tech companies on data privacy matters, in-house counsels, and executives from several major technology organizations.

The event is co-organized with one of the premier law firms in the nation Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. The event will begin at 5:30 pm and will take place in a private venue in the Financial District area.

Here is the blurb:

Data is a fundamental component in almost any business nowadays. People are more concerned about the ways in which their data is used. Most recently new problems arise with regard to the generation of fake data about individuals. Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies have become buzzwords in debates about solving existing problems with regard to data management. Similarly, personal assistant devices and personal AI are expected to help people live easier and happier lives. Currently, various companies are developing solutions that enable individuals to control and utilize their personal data.
What does the future of personal data rights look like? How would financial and wealth management services change in the future? This event aims to address various aspects concerning the future of personal data.
