XIV Stake and Earn: MetaMask Guide

Dear Inverse Community,
In preparation for the launch of Project Inverse Staking, we are offering this helpful guide to ensure a smooth staking experience utilizing MetaMask.

For a general overview of our Project Inverse / Ferrum Network ERC-20 Staking pools, please refer to this: Staking Overview Article.

Preparation: Install MetaMask and Have ETH in Your Wallet

Install MetaMask on your browser and have at least enough ETH in the wallet to pay for gas fees. Failure to have maintain enough ETH in your wallet will result in a failed staking attempt
Go to https://projectinverse.com/stake and select which pool you wish to stake (note you can stake in both pools for the duration of the same staking period)
Connect your MetaMask Wallet to the Staking Contract (will happen automatically)
Read and Agree to Terms and Conditions
Press “Approve and Stake”
Allow MetaMask to Stake Your XIV, Press confirm
(optional): Please observe the default transaction fee, which is set to be reasonably high, and should allow the transaction to execute quickly. However, you have the option of editing your gas fee to either increase or decrease the speed of the transaction using the “edit” button.
Submit Transaction and Wait for Stake to Complete
Success! You can now go back and stake more XIV in other pools.

Important Unstaking Information: Unstaking Must Happen From Same Wallet Used to Stake

In order to successfully unstake, you will need to unstake from the same wallet you used to stake your tokens. For this reason it is recommended that you back up your accounts and securely store the recovery phrase, in case you need to recover your wallet.
