Prometeus Monthly Update: June 2019
June has been a busy month for the Prometeus team. Here is just some of what we’ve been up to: premier worldwide listing on Bittrex, a roadshow in Europe and South East Asia, the announcement of a major partnership with Ankr, Demo-Test challenge, and we participated in a Blockchain Cruise.
Participation on the Blockchain Cruise
From June 6 to June 13, over a thousand members of the blockchain community cruised in the Mediterranean Sea for a one of a kind event. Some of the discussion topics were market development, regulation, and industry pain points.
Partnership with Ankr
In one of the biggest moments of our development road map thus far, we announced a strategic partnership with Ankr. The team at Ankr is building a cryptocurrency based distributed computing network that uses extra storage and cloud resources in data centers and edge devices. More specifically, the team is building a marketplace where space cloud resources could be bought and sold. Items that could be sold on the marketplace includes the monetization of devices, on-premise servers, private cloud, and public cloud. The aim of this collaboration is to create a synergy of Ankr’s computing power and Prometeus AI tech and, also, to develop a global market to further the long-term goals of both projects.
Ankr Spotlight with Prometeus
Prometeus was proud to be the focus of Ankr’s June spotlight alongside Bet Protocol. The spotlighted emphasized the work that we’re doing here at Prometeus, especially how the work will be integrated into Ankr’s ecosystem. Basically, by using the Prometeus dApp, a user will be able to utilise their platform to perform an evaluation of data. Once the dApp becomes available on the app store, Ankr will be able to create instances and have them up and running in minutes.
Listing on Bittrex
Prometeus token had a premiere listing for the international community on Bittrex Exchange. Bittrex is a well-known and respected centralized cryptocurrency exchange established in 2014 and located in the United States.
Prometeus Labs Launch Community Demo-Test Challenge
We hosted an influencer contest with our community and gave $1,000 in BNB to the winners. The contest called on participants to become the “Head of a Marketing Agency” in which they had to create their own influencer marketing plan for a specific product. Some stipulations for the contest was that there was a low budget, and the influencers had to have a high conversion with high followers credibility.
We had a really tough battle, with awesome community voting, which showed great support from local communities. There are much more activities in the future, There will be more chances to get rewards for everyone.
A World Powered by Us Tour with Ankr
Prometeus was on the road with Ankr and other promising projects in the blockchain space: Aergo, Fantom, Blockcloud and Lition. In total, they have visited 5 cities across Europe and Asia. The tour is dedicated to education about technology and includes topics such as enterprise blockchain, Binance chain, and interoperability.

Interview with Blockchain Brad
Brad is one of the most well-respected crypto influencers and he conducted an hour-and-a-half interview with Vladislavs Semenovs, who is the head of our business development. Blockchain Brad has over 20,000 subscribers and his conversion rate is one of the highest out of all crypto social influencers, so we’re very grateful he chose to cover our project.

Perhaps one of the most prominent American crypto influencers, Crypto Lark has 98,000 subscribers and is well-liked by many major target segments in the industry. Vlad from our business development team was also the subject of the interview, and talked about our token economics, product use cases, and overall ecosystem.

Our project was ranked an 8 out of 10 in a review by CryptoDiffer. The project ranking site applauded our team’s suggest used cases as well as the real demand generated around our project. They also commented on the quality of our tokenomis. “Overall, we like the idea of the project and the suggested use-cases. Prometeus has already applied interesting features and we are waiting for much more. The product has a real demand.”

Mandy’s ICO Research Group has over 8,800 members and maintains active research on the leading projects in crypto. The AMA was held on June 26 and served as a great springboard for our road show that started that week with Ankr.

Bigcoin Vietnam hosted an AMA with it’s 3,700 user Telegram channel and Prometeus Network. The people with the best questions were given BNB through an airdrop.
June has been one of the busiest months on record for our team. We landed lots of impressions between our in-person events, AMAs, Youtube interviews, and other marketing efforts. In July, we’re excited to continue showing the world why we’re the answer to regaining control over data privacy.
