Proton x Spotify: Instant Profile Verification for DJs (and Artists too!)

This winter, Proton hit a major milestone: over 1000 DJ Mixes were uploaded to Spotify since our beta launch in 2018. Proton is the largest provider of DJ Mixes to Spotify — with nearly 20 million paid plays on our mixes.

Now, we’re happy to announce another big step: Proton can help our DJs get their Spotify artist profiles instantly verified, without having to wait for their application to get approved by Spotify.

Instant verification also includes instant access to Spotify for Artists, which helps DJs access daily insights for their mixes and keep their artist profile up to date. For DJs this unlocks exciting possibilities: the ability to see which tracks and artists in their mix that listeners like most, and where their listeners might have tuned out.

Spotify for Artists also includes geographic and demographic metrics, which can help DJs plot their next tour using new data they might not have had access to before.
