🚨 Warning 🚨

DO NOT send your MINT tokens directly from your Public Mint wallet to your Bittrex address (nor vice-versa) as they run on different networks. Doing so may lead to irrecoverable loss of your funds! To trade MINT that is on the Public Mint mainnet, use the bridge to Ethereum before sending tokens to Bittrex.

As of today, the market is open for the USDT-MINT token trading pair on crypto exchange Bittrex Global. Users from most countries can now trade the pair on one of the earliest and most reputable centralized exchanges in the world.

The listing ensures increased access to the MINT token, as users can trade without having to pay for Ethereum network fees, which have been extremely high lately.

After the release of the Public Mint Mobile Wallet and EARN on the app stores, this listing represents yet another huge step towards our vision of a more accessible and inclusive financial system.

About Bittrex Global

Bittrex is one of the earliest, most reputable centralized exchanges in the crypto space.

Bittrex was founded in 2014 by three former Microsoft security experts, with over 40 years of combined experience in the field. Bittrex Global, incorporated in 2020, is a spin-off of Bittrex, is the company’s worldwide service provider, while Bittrex US targets the North-American market.

The two sister companies share the same cutting edge technology and industry-leading security. The companies boast an impeccable track record: zero security breaches and zero loss of clients’ funds. They are also known for their network stability and quick loading times, which have granted widespread praise from users and very few instances of hanging or lags.

In addition to that, assets that have trading pairs in both exchanges also share liquidity available between both markets.

For now, MINT is only available in Bittrex Global — but when we can move into the American market, the ease of integration between the two companies will make a future US-listing a breeze.

What does this mean for Public Mint and MINT holders?

This is a huge milestone for us at Public Mint. We are laser-focused on delivering our roadmap in a sustainable, coherent way — and choosing the right trading partners is an essential part of achieving this.

This listing means greater accessibility at a lower cost for the MINT token as an asset, which in itself is a step towards generating and maintaining liquidity.

It also represents a solid signal of our commitment to choosing compliant, secure and established partners.

For the MINT community, these are indeed exciting times. While we continue the work to deliver EARN governance, the MINT token will become more liquid and will benefit from the awareness and exposure from the Bittrex community.

FAQ

Which MINT is listed: Ethereum ERC-20, or Public Mint Mainnet?

For the moment, ONLY ERC-20 MINT are available at Bittrex Global. Please DO NOT send tokens from your Public Mint address directly to or from the exchange, as you will lose your tokens!

If you want to migrate your MINT tokens, use the Public Mint-Ethereum bridge (just follow the steps in this article.)

Can I send MINT from my Public Mint address to Bittrex?

NO, YOU CANNOT. Bittrex accepts MINT solely through the Ethereum Blockchain, not (yet) directly from the Public Mint mainnet. Doing so might result in irrecoverable loss of your funds. If you want to migrate your MINT tokens, follow the steps outlined here.

Can I send MINT from Bittrex directly to my Public Mint Wallet?

NO, YOU CANNOT. For the exact same reasons as detailed above, doing so might result in irrecoverable loss of your funds. If you want to migrate your MINT tokens, follow the steps laid out in this article.

When will I be able to send and receive MINT from Bittrex directly into my Public Mint wallet?

We’re working with the Bittrex Global team to enable deposits to and from the Public Mint mainnet, as well as Ethereum. However, this process should take a few months.

We’ll notify our community the minute it happens. For now, please DO NOT send anything but ERC-20 MINT to and from the exchange.

What’s next?

The USDT-MINT trading pair on Bittrex Global is just the beginning. We’re also working on assessing different trading pairs, and integrating our mainnet to enable a seamless trading experience.

As we gain more daily traded volume, we’ll keep pushing for even more listings in exchanges across the globe — both centralized and decentralized, as markets become more and more liquid.

About Public Mint

Public Mint is an open and complete blockchain platform for fiat money, where funds are fully collateralized and held on deposit with regulated, FDIC-insured institutions. Public Mint offers an open, fiat-native blockchain and APIs, ready for anyone to build fiat-based applications and accept credit cards, ACH, wire transfers, stablecoins and more. On top of that, the Public Mint EARN platform offers users automated and diversified returns on USD assets, leveraging the power of blockchain and DeFi.

About the MINT Token

The MINT token is core to Public Mint EARN, a program that aggregates different sources of high earnings from the crypto space — both CeFi and DeFi — into a simple, intuitive platform.

The MINT token will not only allow users to participate in the governance of EARN, but will also pay a portion of the earnings of the program to active MINT stakeholders. Much like a traditional fund, these crypto-experts are incentivized to pick the best sources of returns, and the best combination of value and security.
