What’s next for Function X at Consensus: Invest 2018 New York

Dear Pundians,

We’ll be in Manhattan at Consensus Invest this week to demonstrate the use cases for our Function X blockchain and the XPhone.

Last month at the XBlockchain Summit in Bali, we made the world’s first-ever blockchain phone call live in front of hundreds of attendees, showing the ways in which Function X can be used to transmit data along the blockchain and via our XPhone prototype.

On Tuesday the 27th, we’ll be showcasing the major capabilities of Function X: the ability to publish and use decentralized applications as part of a truly decentralized internet.

We think decentralization will hand control over content, data and services back to their real owners and remove third-party intermediaries from communications and transactions. The implications will be wide and impactful but one area in particular which is the sharing economy could see the biggest change as until now, it has relied on a centralized aggregator/platform to be the engine of transactions.
