Finding The Way Into My Heart
Locating the inner sanctuary where all things are
I read with interest White Feather’s post about finding and living life. He wrote:
Our hearts are what receive joy from our Source and what express that joy coming through us.
My heart skipped a beat as I nodded heartily in agreement. This resonated deeply with me, but it hasn’t always been this way. I had heard it said that our heart is the space where we are in total harmony with Source energy. Whatever we want and need is here. It’s also the compass that will dictate and let us know if we are in alignment.
I’ve always known this, but knowing intellectually does not equal knowing spiritually. Spiritual experience reveals all the mysteries of life and takes us beyond our individual identity.
What is the point if all we can attest to is knowing the truth, but we can’t move further from there? Our mind remains engaged in the external reality but never seeks the truth beyond what is perceptible to the senses. We may just as well be like those who don’t know. Spiritual journey takes us beyond our personality. For our life to grow in richness, we must start experiencing.
