This article is a result of the statement made by Jean Carfantan (as shown below) in the recent edition of Ariadne’s Thread

Beth Stormont, in The Shadow on the Hearth, makes you wonder if you ever
see your shadow in the fire.

This very interesting statement started some new insights sparking in me —
particularly since I had just completed and submitted my new semi-poetic statement on ‘In the Heart… not the Head’. And yes, there is a correlation if you dig deep enough…(or maybe just ‘read between the lines’.)

But let me first make a brief response to the above statement that started it all.

I am going to make the hearth analogous to our physical human bodies… and
the fire, to our heart center.

When we are operating entirely from the physical body in our thinking and living, the fear aspect so prevalent in this outer world aspect of our living is
extremely strong and real. It is from this world of living that the shadow on the hearth can automatically exist.

When we are operating from the heart center — wherein dwells the fire of divine love — we are seeing the world through different eyes. Therefore the fear aspect from the physical outer…
