Will They Still Work?
If the feeling of “I’m a nobody) is a recent turn of events, you may be able to work it out on your own by getting advice from places like Quora, reading a self-help book, journaling, or talking to friends.
I’ve pondered this question my entire life.
At different stages, I’ve had different answers.
Sometimes the answers worked, but it was temporary.
One step at a time.
When you say, “get out there more,” it sounds like your goal is for more social interaction.
The definition of self-esteem:
“confidence in one’s own worth or abilities; self-respect”
It comes down to worth and abilities.
I think the majority people have self-esteem issues, or related self-image, self-confidence issues. They are all related.
Shyness, Anxiety and Low Self-Esteem are all abstractions.
They are terms or labels that are applied to something specific.
This is one habit that cross all these categories.
Confidence is typically related to our belief in our abilities.
When we receive evidence that puts that belief into doubt, that damages our confidence. Feedback from the real world is clashing with our belief system.
