Top Skills which a content writer should have:

I’ve been writing publicly for around 3 years, and today I decided that it’s time to take you all to the world of content. It all started with passionate wistful eyes that gripped two different dreams. It was more like one eye wanted to be with soul and another one wanted to make parents dream (of becoming doctor). I belonged to a place where finding a mentor for becoming a successful writer was more like living in delusion. I starting writing on that blog while on a solo trip to village while beginning to digest the news that I don’t want to opt science further.

In starting there was a strange expression of mystical insights mixed with personal confusion. It was an attempt to understand myself while also suggesting that I was somehow enlightened.

I was not a born writer, nor did I have a chance to opt for an online content writing course. Every morning I would go for a long walk to track that beat of writing. Sometimes I was confused about ideas and at times I was stuck with the introduction.

Every day I used to explore the internet and, I came to learn that there is a specific procedure and some guidelines to write a perfect piece. This is the main aim of this blog, but before let me highlight perks that you can enjoy being a content writer. Based on holding a reputed position, you can enjoy the flexibility of work from home along with a sip of hot chocolaty coffee. Your life can be fortunate; you can make your schedule and work as much or as little you want to.

Sounds thrilling? I bet Ya!

With perks, this job is full of challenges as well. With every sunrise, you have to come up with unique and creative writing ideas. There are few points where you need to be a master other than just being an average writer. In this blog, you will find essential skill sets that you must require if you want to pursue your career in the same.

1. Know the interest of your reader:

A successful content writer should know how to create a beautiful string with the reader. Your writing demands two-way communication. If you don’t know your reader then it is like shooting an arrow without aiming. With my experience, I suggest before writing anything for readers do a mini-research. The more you know your reader the more your content will be accepted. Understand their needs and requirements and see how you can benefit them through your writing, after all, they should have reason to read you.

2. Be clear with your message:

Your writing should be crisp and short. Writing becomes easy when you know what you want to convey to your readers. You should be clear about your topic and method to make your write-up more interesting. I often used to get stuck with an intro, “How to start” was my problem in earlier days and reason was unclarity of message that I wanted to convey. If you are a beginner and you are facing this type of problem, you need to work on your analytical and communication skills. For beginners, these small problems are completely acceptable.

3. Stick to readability principles:

With your content, you need to be so clear that the reader should get your message in the first instance. Stop using unnecessary stories and lines in your content be focused on your final thought. Now you might be wondering how to make your content both crispy and clear? Here are the five readable formulas for you:

· Be direct with your readers

· Use active voice

· Keep it optimized and simple

· Maintain a flow

· Proofread thrice

4. Have patience while you research:

Always remember research is the key to good content. For becoming a successful content writer you need to have good patience and excellent research and analytical skills.

People often have this misconception that researching on the web is an easy task. Sometimes it turns out to be frustrating when you are not able to find the content according to the keywords. Don’t be over reactive, it is suggested to read 3–5 researched articles before framing your own.
