Rangers Protocol officially released its new brand positioning as a Web3 Engine Infrastructure today, undertaking the mission to professionally power up the evolving Web3 world while going all out to minimize development difficulty and maximize user experience of Web3 applications.

Rangers Protocol has always been dedicated to facilitating the construction of the Web3 world with the best technical support possible as a Metaverse blockchain infrastructure. Attentive enough to the essential needs of Web3 developers and users, Rangers Protocol was able to be the first in the blockchain industry to identify the necessity of a Web3 Engine in powering up the Web3 ecosystem and pioneeringly gave out its definition.

With more tools and dApps successively launched and integrated into the Ranger Protocol network, Rangers Protocol has entered a new phase of development in terms of product development and industry experience, and is now ready to officially embrace its new brand positioning as a Web3 Engine Infrastructure for creating immersive Web3 applications. Through the rebranding, Rangers Protocol aims to better touch both Web2 and Web3 developers and support AAA and indie developers to succeed in the Web3 world.

What’s New?

Together with the new brand positioning, the Rangers Protocol system has also gone through changes and updates with its two core technical components: Rangers Mainnet and Rangers Connector.

Rangers Mainnet

The formerly known Rangers Engine has been officially updated to Rangers Mainnet, which now is a high-performance blockchain that supports complex applications. Integrated with an efficient VRF+BLS consensus mechanism, this highly scalable blockchain can solve the problem of high-frequency trading through real-time confirmation and reduce the possibility of network congestion and usage costs, which all are ideal advantages for large-scale blockchain games and dApps.

Rangers Connector

As an innovative heterogeneous cross-chain solution based on distributed signatures to solve problems concerning digital asset migration, Rangers Connector can remove the cross-chain communication barriers and lower the operation difficulty for developers and mass users. Rangers Connector supports simultaneous cross chain of multiple NFT contracts in addition to cross chain between two chains, during which the historical data of assets can be completely preserved under the state synchronization mechanism.

Rangers Mainnet and Rangers Connector will respectively provide decentralized infrastructures and comprehensive interoperability to optimize the dApp development process and user experience, fulfilling part of the key functions of a Web3 Engine.

A Web3 Game Engine for All

Rangers Protocol holds an ultimate goal for its own version of Web3 Engine: to serve the Metaverse through combining the essence of blockchain and game engine, which is inspired by Unreal Engine, a game engine in the Web2 world that comes to support a wider range of industries covering filmmaking, broadcasting, architecture, and more with its comprehensive IDE and developing tools.

With this inspiration and rich experience with blockchain games, the Rangers Protocol team genuinely wishes their project to develop into a game engine to cater for the Web3 ecosystem to minimize the development difficulty for Web3 developers and maximize the user experience of its Web3 applications, which is a better illustration of their ideas and innovations.

A March to the Goal

Since the mainnet launch in last December, Rangers Protocol has been achieving impressive results with one after another milestone reached in terms of technology breakthroughs, market development, and more.

A batch of comprehensive toolsets for developers and mass users, including Rangers Scan, Miner Console, Rangers Claim, the oracle function, and the latest Node Management Platform, have been deployed on the Rangers network successively. Meanwhile, Robin Testnet also welcomed Rangers Protocol’s first blockchain application DeHeroGame for public testing, in addition to the recently upgraded Rangers Scan.

Now with a clearer goal under the new positioning, Rangers Protocol is more confident than ever to deliver more in the upcoming days.

What’s Next?

Under the new brand positioning and layout, Rangers Protocol will keep its pioneering Rangers spirits as always, only with a clearer mission, which is to enable big and small developers to develop content without limits or differences as the backbone of Web3 Engine.

Rangers Protocol will keep carrying out technical research and development on core Web3 technologies including dApp development tools and cross-chain solutions both in house and through partnerships, constantly constructing a developer-friendly Rangers Protocol ecosystem while supporting the greater Web3 world.

Please stay tuned for our latest progress. You are all welcome to witness and participate in every step of this.
