Sometimes, during our darkest moments, many of us question ourselves and ask God “Why?” We may even blame Him for the mistakes, failures, and sorrows in our lives.

While Journaling My struggles, sorrows, complaints and compiling my list of why’s. I felt strongly that God was telling me I was asking the wrong question.

As I crafted my thoughts, I talked about myself and asked God these questions:

  • Why are you doing this to me?
  • God, I suffered enough. Why do failures keep happening to me?
  • God, Are you giving me a sign to quit on everything I worked through sweat and tears? Am I not destined to be a successful entrepreneur?
  • Why do I feel like God was mocking me?
  • I hustled enough, I did my best why do I keep failing in any career and industry that I have worked for?
  • How much do I have to endure these struggles? Why do I feel like you are teasing me?
  • Is this what you have planned for me? Is this supposed to happen?
  • Why do I feel life is so unfair?
  • Why people have not suffer like what I suffer?
  • Why do I feel like they are more favored by God in any situation?
  • Am I destined for this kind of struggle in my life?

When something unexpected happens in our life or our world, it’s easy for us to ask God why it happened. We want to live the blessed “abundant life” (John 10:10b) that Jesus said He was bringing, and we forget that He also told us that “in this world, you will have trouble,” John 16:33. We forget that all our favorite Bible characters had their share of struggles and grief and hard circumstances. Sometimes they experienced struggles for decades before they saw God’s plan come to pass in their life. same for all religion out there.

I experienced a crisis of faith when my questions and prayers went unanswered for months. I began to question the existence of God and His goodness.

It can be truly comforting to feel a direct response from a higher power during times of struggle. On the other hand, it’s also important to acknowledge that it may take time for us to recognize how that power is working in our lives. But in the end, it’s reassuring to know that there may be a bigger plan in place that we simply cannot see yet.

It’s natural to question why things happen the way they do. We yearn to understand the reasons behind every occurrence in our lives. However, we must remember that God’s plan is beyond our comprehension. Though we may not always see it, He has a divine purpose for everything that happens. As Scripture teaches, we must trust in His plan and have faith that it will lead us to where we are meant to be. 🙏

Fail Forward: Embracing Mistakes on the Entrepreneurial Journey

Desperate for success turned into his biggest business failure. The real-life journey of Andrei D., who faced many failures and went into hiding for his bad business decisions and mistakes. He left without a saying word to his Investors. he was too ashamed to face his investors and explain what went wrong and what happened. until he realized it was wrong to leave without a word. This happens due to his lack of experience as he is a young man who lacks knowledge communication, guidance, and doesn’t have a Mentor.

It was July 2022 – April 2023 when I started to see the results of my hard work. It was a successful entrepreneurial journey that made me proud and say “I made it!”.

In my mind “This is my pursuit of happiness, I can finally repay my parents for raising me and for the hardship they went through, I want them to retire early and let them enjoy the time they missed. I can financially support my sister’s education and get her college degree”
