“Plants are like the lungs of the world. They breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen, which humans and other animals need to breathe in reverse. They also give us food and shelter, and without them, life as we know it would not be possible." - Sir David Attenborough

I adore plants because they are so beneficial to the environment, our bodies, and our health. Plants absorb carbon dioxide to lessen air pollution. In addition, it promotes food production and agriculture. Plants are a lovely complement to any environment because they give color, shape, and texture.

Nowadays, people are getting increasingly interested in indoor plants as a way to bring a sense of nature into their homes. I am aware that some people keep indoor plants only for the purpose of bringing beauty and life into their living spaces.

On the other hand, indoor plants enhance the indoor atmosphere and the quality of the air in the home. Our stress levels are lowered when we look at plants because they have a calming influence on us. Compared to other materialistic things, indoor plants are inexpensive and a great way to feel more connected with the natural world.

This week’s prompt is,

Write about the benefits of indoor plants, the different types of indoor plants available, and how to care for them to ensure they thrive in your indoor space. Share a tale of experience related to indoor plants.

A little Elovera plant in my home

Overall, indoor plants can bring a lot of benefits to our homes and our lives. If you don’t have any indoor plants, then go get one.
