Reef Call For Artists: Final Selections
Reef’s Call for Artists campaign was a success in terms of the amount of high quality submissions of artworks from the Reef community. In the middle of February 2022, beginning at ETHDenver, Reef called for curious artists from its 250,000+ strong community to submit their art work in the form of images, GIF/MP4/MOV, audio, etc. in order to be featured on multiple, open NFT marketplaces launching on Reef.
The campaign ended on March 31, 2022. During the submission period we received an overwhelming amount of submissions from our proud, talented, fellow Reefians. The submissions covered different mediums such as images, audio, painting, digital arts, photography, spoken word, and others.
Before announcing the artists we have chosen to work with going forward, we would also like to announce that Sqwid and Oyster are both launching soon. As is often the case, finalizing that last 5–10% of code, getting audited, implementing early user feedback, etc. has taken a bit longer than anticipated. However, hang on to your REEF, and use Klever to bridge it over from Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain to Reef chain, and get ready buy your new favourite NFTs when the marketplaces take off!

It’s time for the reveal! All the submissions for this campaign were so wonderful that it was challenging to come up with a shortlist. However, after careful consideration, Reef’s NFT team and others have finalized the results, and have decided to closely work with the following list of artists:

Many of the artists have already been in touch with Reef, and those who have not will be contacted shortly by Reef’s NFT team to get in touch, align on getting early access to one of the NFT marketplaces, and decide how best to work together while putting their art and talent in the spotlight! We will also be sharing the art by the remaining artists across our communities over the next few weeks.
