DAY 15 : HOW TO SPOIL A BIRTHDAY TRIP

This is DAY 15 of the “30 DAYS OF DOING THINGS THAT I WAS ‘GONNA’ DO “ series
Today’s day is altogether different. It’s about how my Birthday party gets spoilt but we still have fun
That GIF does not make any sense but I haven’t seen a funnier birthday GIF xD.
Anyway, coming back to my birthday story; before even my birthday was one week down, we had decided the we all will be going to Worlds of Wonder, which looks something like this
Nice pictures right guys? Even I was pretty excited when I saw these and the other pictures. I started imagining myself on those rides. Shouting at the top of my lungs, eating a lot of food like a gorrilla and having fun, was something that I had decided for my birthday.
As the day came closer and closer, my excitement started to increase until one day.
My friend asked one of the people who went to Worlds of Wonder and they gave us negative reviews. They told us that all the rides are for small children and adults or teenagers like us will not enjoy that place.
I don’t know whether it was because of the awesome photos or something else but I still wanted to go to this awesome wonderland!
But as expected, after hearing that review all the people in my group were not ready to go there. Also, the place is really far from where we live. So unfortunately we dropped that idea 😢
BUT, little did I know that there was some hope left. Just the next day, my friend told me that there is another amusement park that is
a) Not so far away from our place
b) Cheaper than WoW
c) Has more adult-like rides
……and the name is Adventure Island and it looks something like this
I came back to life!! My excitement doubled! I was really excited to think of all the fun we can have there and it would be a great birthday.
Fast forward to the morning of 30th June 2017, it was my birthday!
I got out of bed, brushed my teeth and washed my face. I then came to open the curtains of my room and what I saw was devastating!!
IT RAINED!!
Now I knew that it is almost impossible for us to go to the amusement park. Regardless I went to the gym and after coming back, I sat down on my desk and started working, hoping that the rain would stop and sunshine will soon brighten up our lives. I thought that on my birthday I would just be working on my laptop the whole day and there will be nothing for me to do.
I kept working and then to my surprise, the rain did stop and the sun did come out of the clouds which then bought a ray of hope with it. A hope for a person, that he can take his friends to the amusement park on his birthday and have a great day.
I called everyone up and told them that the plan was ON and we’ll leave after 1 hour.
Once again, fast forward one hour and we were sitting in the cab.
The clouds were up in the sky and the city looked exactly like this
And then, when we were halfway through, it started raining heavily.
I now knew that there was some evil force which will not let me go to the amusement park. Now I couldn’t anything.
On my birthday, I was sitting in an Uber not even knowing where I had to go. Fighting against the weather forecast, that predicted rain during the day, was of no use. Google, you won!
We changed the plan and went to a nearby mall. But we were lucky enough to find Bowling here:
I have to say; though I wanted to go the amusement park, bowling was fun and all of us enjoyed a lot.
After that we had lunch in a newly opened restaurant The Barbeque Company. The place was awesome, the food was awesome and due to some offer, I got a 98% discount on my bill !! 😛
The party was over
But only I thought so. My parents had something else in store for me
I came back and I was dead tired. I slept for about 1 hour and when I woke up, they were ready to take me to another restaurant, which was the best I had ever seen.
Some good conversations and delicious food made my day at the end.
Finally I returned home at 11pm and slept by 11:30.
My birthday was awesome and I am thankful to have such good friends and parents. I can never thank them enough to support me.
So this was DAY 15 of the series and I will see you guys again tomorrow!
