Dear members, welcome to the second edition of our bi-weekly development updates in which we keep you in the loop as to what’s been going on behind the scenes at REMME.

Our devs never sleep — or at least so it seems — which is why they’ve completed such a long list of tasks since our last update! Since last checking in, the following has all happened:

Software development:

  • First public REMME protocol beta-testing session with focus group during BlockchainUA Hackathon
  • Development of high-level REMChain (REMME testnet) architecture
  • REST API business logic: tokens, certificates, key management and transaction status checks (OpenAPI+Connexion) for REMME Core REST API v0.1
  • REST API documentation based on Swagger
  • Preparing for next release of REMME Core with minor updates.

Research and discovery:

  • Researching and benchmarking for customized consensus algorithm implementation
  • Consideration of concept inspired by RBFT: Redundant Byzantine Fault Tolerance
  • Ways to improve security level of Identity & Access Management (IAM) processes for corporate and hardware networks based on REMME protocol

More updates:

  • We’ve announced the latest business to join our 2018 Pilot Program — Triggmine have signed up and will be among the first to benefit from using the REMME protocol.
  • We published a general overview of 2018 Pilot Program numbers including how many companies joined and the biggest applicants (by number of end-users). Have a read and see the numbers for yourself
  • REMME has joined the Hyperledger project, which will pave the way for driving further blockchain adoption and forging partnerships with other Hyperledger members
  • REMME sponsored the BlockchainUA conference and Hackathon and got involved with the judging too. The projects we witnessed were original and innovative, and we emerged feeling inspired for the many ways in which the REMME protocol can be adapted

Want to stay in the loop for our latest updates? Join the upcoming AMA session with REMME founder Alex Momot on April 6th.

  • Submit your questions on Reddit up until 15:00 UTC 5th April.
  • Alex will answer 5–8 questions that receive the most upvotes.
  • AMA session will be live and will last up to 30 minutes.

If you won’t be able to join us online, don’t worry — we will record the session and upload it to our YouTube channel.

👋 Cheers, we’ll get back to you with more!
