Re-inventing ourselves has always been the most important skill. I’m re-inventing myself by improving in 15 areas at a time. This post is part of my Re Human project.

Daily Habits

Books: I’ve been listening to Platform Revolution. Some notes from today:

Platforms disrupt in three ways:

Delinking assets from value

Re- intermediation (and providing value in the intermediation)

Market aggregation

Meditation: 21 minutes in the morning.

Re Human Extended Activity: Mondays is VR Artist and Architect.

Today I was exploring my current library and I saw that several of the objects used were .mtl and .obj files. I did some research on how to create those files and came across Blender. I needed to create these objects to expand my hallways/add a bit more complex 3D objects to my scene. So I played around with Blender.

Then I figured out how to export to specifically an .mtl and .obj file and imported it to my scene in A Frame:

Still have to figure out a nice interface to move things around and make sure colors also export..

Writing: This post and a daily thought.

Digital Drawing & Painting:

Today I painted a metaphor. Several people usually want one thing, but only one person can have that thing, resulting in everyone else (n-1 people) feeling sad because they couldn’t have that thing. I see this metaphor in so many places, and people’s “sadness” comes from unmet expectations.

Fitness: Today I practiced my handstands, push ups — but realized I was sore from yesterday when I trained with my friend Nate — so I switched to jumping squats. Today I was able to hold a handstand for around a full 6 seconds.

Piano: Today the second piano that I checked was available.

Soccer trick juggling: Did juggling inside my girlfriend’s room.
