Day task! Daily Routine! Perfect Day! — Part 2 (Trilogy blog)

Slack Era
One year later, since we started updating the tasks list in the mail. Then we all moved to one common intra-communication platform — SLACK. A Channel created for the daily task, and the same routine followed. Things were changing, and quick growth in Report Bee and team size became big. The primary unit divided into four groups. Growth, Happiness, Creation, and Design. Separate channels for each side and each team will update their task in the marked channels. Want to appreciate Anant Mani here, because he will part of all the team channels and he will share his update in all the team channels. Kind of repeated work, but he never hesitates to do that. All he wants is the team to have a proper communication in the task list.
Flow Dock
For some internal reason, we move our communication channel to Flow Dock. Similar to Slack, the same channels created and task list was updating. Flow dock is our primary intra-communication channel for Report Bee.
Success measured by being Consistent.
The primary team divided into subgroups. Now I belong to sub-team — DESIGN. Not much update from the other groups, because I was not part of the other team channels.
Team and consistency
Since the team is already divided and, individual groups formed. The daily task in the Design team is consistent. I was making sure all the designer should update the daily task list. Followed till now.
Flow Dock to WhatsApp. How it became consistent now.
- Though we say, Flow Dock is our official channel. But sometimes we miss to use it, and mostly we use the channel when we are inside the office.
- The boom of WhatsApp into the picture. Now everyone uses smartphones, and almost all the smartphone has WhatsApp installed. Whatsapp becomes the primary communication channel for all our conversation. Personal or official, All we need is a communication medium.
- Out of 7 member design team, at least one will be missing to update the daily task.
- Group discussion arranged within the design team. On making improving the Daily Task update consistently.
- Everyone voted on WhatsApp and let’s have the daily task update in Whatsapp. Because in Whatsapp notification is not missed when we use the mobile. If any of us updates the task, the team gets notified. Even it is one single message.
- Though the team insisted, the Daily task moved to Whatsapp. For me the goal is achieved, the task update to Whatsapp, none miss to update the task list.
