We’re excited to welcome our new Mitacs Intern, Marshall Asch, to the RightMesh team!
Throughout his internship, Marshall will be working closely with our CTO, Dr. Jason Ernst, on data storage and ad hoc networks. His research will be directly contributing to our project with the University of Guelph to help connect Canada’s North.
SATELLITE 2019
The SATELLITE2019 conference brought together aerospace thought leaders, entrepreneurs, executives, end-users and engineers from around the world to discuss how satellites will impact research and technology. RightMesh CEO, John Lyotier, spoke on a panel alongside David Howgill, President of Huckworthy, J. Armand Musey, President and Founder of Summit Ridge Group LLC, and moderator Michael Potter, Co-Founder and Director of Geeks Without Frontiers.
Advance Ontario
Hosted at Mars, Advance Ontario is a combined conference by ORION, SOCIP and Compute Ontario, that discusses opportunities and challenges in the areas of diversity in data science, the future of work, AI, IOT & intelligent communities and cybersecurity. RightMesh CTO, Dr. Jason Ernst, presented a workshop on ‘How Technology Can Save the World’ by addressing the growing digital divide.
YELL 2019
Our Co-Founder, Chris Jensen, spoke on a panel at YELL’s Annual Venture Challenge in Vancouver, British Columbia. The event brings together young leaders to inspire and teach them about entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation. Chris spoke on ‘A Dialogue on Investing in Young Minds’ alongside Lauren Kelly, Erin Fawcett, Chris Kennedy, and moderator, Judy Brooks.
