The technology we build is designed to address complex issues. And in the case of our new Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) tool, depicted in the video above, we’re specifically working to provide sophisticated analytics that will make the United States healthcare system more effective and affordable.
RS21's SDoH tool also aggregates data from more than 300 sources across time and space to investigate research questions that have never before been attempted due to limitations around data availability and computing power.
Using the SDoH tool, we are able to convey vast amounts of information, allowing, providers and patients to easily use the technology to understand a patient’s health status. Physicians can use these tools in clinical settings to identify potential triggers and recommend lifestyle changes to improve health and quality of life for their patients. At home, patients can take advantage of access to personalized information in a comfortable setting where they are more likely to engage with the information.
By aggregating and layering these data at a population level, RS21 provides health insurers with a predictive algorithm that identifies interventions that have the greatest impact in a community and tracks project implementation. In this way, health insurers are able to more effectively identify strategies that improve health and reduce costs for their members.
