Safety first

Before you start to mint your duckies, it’s incredibly important to take the following security instructions in account:

  • When minting from the website, ensure that you’re on the official website: duck.art
  • If you decide to mint directly from the contract (requires degen knowledge), ensure that you’re interacting with the official contract: 0x7A4D1b54dD21ddE804c18B7a830B5Bc6e586a7F6
  • Only trust announcements made from the official Twitter account @RubberDuckBP

Scammers will deploy fake twitter accounts, contracts and minting sites. Make sure to triple check the above before you do anything. Don’t click on any links that don’t originate from our official channels.

FAQ

After I connect it states that I’m not on the list, can you add my wallet?
Unfortunately we can’t make any change to the list anymore. Entries are open for the Raffle Mint, which starts on March 2.

I’m pretty sure I’m on the pregame list, but it doesn’t recognize my wallet
This is almost always caused by people connecting with the wrong wallet. Make sure that the wallet you’re connected with is the wallet that’s on the pregame list, you can see the entire pregame list here.

I got my pregame spot through a collab, but my wallet isn’t on the list
Make sure to connect with the wallet you registered with, this is most likely the wallet that holds the NFT of the project we collaborated with. So for instance, if you got a spot through our Robotos collab, most likely the wallet on the pregame list is the wallet your Roboto is in.

I’m trying to mint on mobile, but it doesn’t connect
Unfortunately, the mobile wallets are not as stable when it comes to interacting with browsers as we would like. We strongly recommend you to mint on desktop instead. In case you can’t mint on desktop, make sure to mint in the browser of your wallet.

MetaMask: open the sidebar, click on Browser
Coinbase Wallet: click on the icon in the middle in the navigation bar

How to access MetaMask in-app browser

Coinbase Wallet keeps on rugging me, what can I do?
In case Coinbase Wallet doesn’t work properly you can always import your Coinbase wallet into MetaMask. Go to Coinbase Wallet, click on the settings icon in the bottom, you will find Recovery Phrase in the security section, you can copy that phrase and then import into MetaMask by following these instructions.

Can I mint 1 duck now and my second duck later?
Yes, as long as you mint during the 24 hours that the pregame mint is open. We do recommend minting 2 ducks at the same time as it saves you gas fees.

I connected with the wrong wallet and can’t disconnect!
You can disconnect your wallet by clicking on the Disconnect wallet button on the bottom of the mint page. If that doesn’t help, make sure to clear your cache or switch browsers.

MetaMask gives me a warning that the transaction will fail, help!
When MetaMask warns that a transaction will fail, don’t approve the transaction as it will result in you losing the gas fee and that can be very pricey. Most often this error happens when you’re trying to execute a non-valid transaction, for instance when you try to mint before we’ve opened the mint or when you try to mint without the valid proof.

I minted, but I can’t see my duckies
After you’ve minted you will be able to see your ducks on Etherscan, OpenSea, LooksRare and any other wallet and platform. Sometimes it takes a bit of time for those platforms to update the metadata. If you’re concerned you should always check the transaction directly, by opening your MetaMask, click on the transaction and then on View on block explorer. If the status shows as Confirmed or Success there’s no reason to worry.

I minted, but my transaction is taking some time and is still pending
When you mint you submit your transaction with a certain gas price, which is the bid to the Ethereum network to process it. Sometimes when your gas price is too low (can be caused by sudden increase or by you lowering your gas fees manually) it might take a long time for the transaction to process. You can read more information here on how to speed up or cancel a transaction when this happens to you.
