Rubicon Layer 2 Launch Waitlist
As Rubicon moves forward on its mission to build more efficient, fair, and democratized financial markets, it is sounding the call for any interested individuals to join the cause. Recently, Rubicon soft-launched its app and smart contract on Ethereum mainnet as the first step towards its upcoming Layer 2 launch. As of today, the waitlist for our upcoming Layer 2 launch is live! To join the waitlist, simply click the “Join the Waitlist” button present on the front of our site and provide an email address.
Why should I join the waitlist?
There are a number of benefits to joining the Rubicon waitlist. Firstly, our mainnet application will initially only be accessible to waitlist participants once our contracts are live on Ethereum Layer 2.
Why is there a waitlist?
We are launching a waitlist for a few key reasons. Firstly, as we develop our application and prepare for the launch of the Rubicon Protocol on Layer 2, we want to gauge the interest of potential users while providing them early access. Secondly, we are launching the application initially to waitlisted users much like in a beta test: it will provide us the opportunity to work out any last-minute bugs and test our application at scale before releasing it to the broader public. Lastly, Optimism’s Layer 2 technology is iteratively rolling out and preparing for its debut on the Ethereum main network— as they finalize the release of their technology and we work on our integration with Optimism, we wanted to allow users to be first in line when both are ready.
