A few years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do or see, than by the ones you did, so better get out and explore your local gems whilst you can…

Isle of Purbeck, travel blog by Ruchira Parchur

Set in a picturesque location cuddled amidst the country’s gorgeous landmarks and natural coastline, the Isle of Purbeck is a paradise for explorers. Though not an island that you’d imagine, this is a small peninsula in Dorset, England.

Home to top British attractions, historic landmarks, and spectacular cliffs, the Isle of Purbeck is a heaven for outdoor seekers. A few highlights, noted from my trip, are not to be missed.

Corfe Castle

Fairy tale ruins built in a gap in the Purbeck Hills date back to the 11th century. Once England’s most impressive castle, built by William, is now Grade I listed and owned by the National Trust, which is currently attempting to restore it. The village of the castle is named after it which attracts many visitors each year one of them being me, this year.
