The Future of Flesh
Science and technology are often set apart from the squishy, inconvenient truths of our human thoughts and feelings, considered to be above bias, robotically free of prejudice. But the questions we ask in the pursuit of scientific truth, the methods we choose, the assumptions we make, the conclusions we come to, and the technology we create are products of inequality just as much as we are. This series explores the many ways that we create technology in our own stereotypical image, as well as the ways that technological advancements can help to address sexual and gender inequality in our changing world.
