SaaSBooMi 2020 — Day 1

Chennai, Jan. 24, 2020, 2:30 PM

“Welcome to the 2020 edition of SaaSBooMi” — screams the standee, as you enter the Sheraton Grand Resort.

The excitement is palpable. You look around and catch a few smiles coming your way — some from familiar faces, some from new ones, all with the same shared enthusiasm. You find yourself surrounded only by kindred spirits, something that doesn’t happen every so often.

The volunteers at the welcome desk check your registration details and hand you your ID card with a specific coloured tag, based on the cohort your SaaS business falls under:

You’ve spotted a problem worth solving for a sizeable market and are positive that you have a solution for it. You’ve spent an ample amount of time testing your hypothesis and figuring out if and how you’ll be able to solve the problem in the most efficient and effective manner.

Your startup looks great on paper, and your plans are beginning to come to life. You’ve hired your founding team, acquired your first set of customers, set up your metrics and analytics framework, and are fine-tuning your core offering based on the market’s response.

Over the course of four and a half hours, you immerse yourself in a pool of priceless experiential and peer-to-peer knowledge, specifically tailored for your business’s stage, on various topics like:

After absorbing years worth of founder experience in a few hours, you unwind by networking and exchanging notes with the SaaS founder community over dinner and drinks, while some of your peers are concluding their Day 1 with their scheduled Investor Meetings.

Running your business has become a routine affair.
