The $SAM TGE was officially a roaring success! Now that we’re live and trading on Aerodrome, it’s time to look forward to all of the exciting developments on the horizon, starting with the lucrative prizes we’ve got lined up to celebrate the launch of Samurai Sanka!

How to Participate

As you can see, we’re kicking off Season 1 of Samurai Sanka with a bang! Six projects, all offering up extremely generous prize pots for Samurai Sanka participants.

Each season of Sanka will last a total of three months, with new features and prizes being added as we continue to grow and develop. Sanka is the theater for our most innovative and experimental ideas — every season will offer up exciting new ways to interact and earn.

Throughout it all, we will always strive to offer excellent value for your Samurai Points (SP): we’re talking more prize raffles, special discounts, and the ability to directly cash in your points for tokens and NFTs.

Those who get in early will feel the greatest benefit, since SP rewards gradually unlock over time. So if you want to be among the biggest winners in the Samurai family, you’d better start right now — there’s not much time left until our giveaways begin!

To get yourself included in the draws, you’ve got two options:

1. Stake SAM Tokens Through our Website

Stake the minimum of 30,000 $SAM through our tokens page on the Samurai Starter website.
Choose a lockup period from 3 to 12 months to enjoy a points multiplier.
Sit back and let the points start rolling in.

The more you stake, and the longer you stake them for, the faster you’ll earn Samurai Points. Each 1000 points equals one ticket in the prize raffles, which you’ll be automatically entered into.

Note: any unvested tokens in your balance will not count — only tokens actively staked on the platform, or used to provide SAM:WETH liquidity, can generate SP.

2. Provide SAM:WETH Liquidity

SAM:WETH liquidity providers will also be able earn Samurai Points. Simply provide liquidity through the Aerodrome DEX platform to qualify.

We will take a snapshot of LP providers before each draw and set your Samurai Points balance accordingly. In future, it will be possible to stake your LP tokens direct on the platform in order to accrue points automatically.

As an added incentive for our LP providers, if you provide liquidity any time before this Friday (May 3) at 00:00 UTC, we will backdate your points to today (April 29).

Special Booster: Earn Free Points by Supporting Our Partners

Throughout this week, we will be offering bonus Samurai Points to anyone who completes some simple social media tasks for the partner projects who have generously offered up prizes for our campaign!

These will be announced through our Twitter and Telegram channels over the coming days. Show some love for our partners and you’ll be rewarded with extra points, meaning extra tickets in every single one of the prize draws happening throughout May. Aerodrome Finance needs no introduction — their ongoing moon mission speaks for itself. So instead, let’s talk about how we’ll be using their veAERO token to dish out sweet rewards to our $SAM stakers.

In short: Samurai Starter will be the very first launchpad to offer veNFT rewards to platform participants! Aerodrome’s veAERO NFTs are the governance tokens of the Aerodrome platform, which can be used to vote for token pairs on the platform (such as WETH/SAM) and gain rewards in return.

You’ll be able to earn these lucrative prizes through single-token staking, participating in IDOs, and taking part in other community incentives through Samurai Sanka. Essentially, it’s an opportunity to participate in high-yield farming, for completely free! So how exactly will it work?

Well, as part of our Aerodrome strategy, we’ll be constantly farming and locking veAERO tokens in order to contribute votes to the WETH/SAM pair and secure bigger rewards for our LP providers. Season 1 will continue with more giveaways in the coming months, as our community race to rack up points and boost their chances of winning prizes. This allows us to offer maximum value to our beloved community without contributing to SAM inflation.

In Season 2, we’ll add a bunch of new features to give you enhanced control over how you monetize your points. We’ll be implementing spendable points, with a Sanka dashboard page from where you can view your balance, check out all the prizes on offer, and redeem your points directly for NFTs, veAERO, raffle tickets, and more!
