The Best of 2021: Tweets
“So, about that time Steve went off to college.”
As always, I want to let the tweets speak for themselves because to write about them would be to make them less funny. I also tried to focus on just the funny this year, even though there were some beautifully wholesome tweets, like the following:
- Nick Jr. giving a platform for Steve from Blue’s Clues to make us all weep.
- Max Rebo’s Roadie celebrating the news that Bob Odenkirk was okay.
- Shea Serrano revealing his cameo in The Dark Knight.
- Cookie Monster helping out with holiday shopping.
- Daniel Craig saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, the weekend,” which has been the best tweet of the year fifty-two times.
Anyway, here are forty tweets that I hope you enjoy, even if they’re niche. You might need to click on them to expand them; I’m not entirely sure.

Maybe 2022 will finally be the year I abandon Twitter completely and not just how I did it in 2021 (asking people to send me the funny ones).
