Lost opportunity for a small city car, not smart but wise

I think we might be approaching a the age of good looking small cars.

The Zundapp Janus 250 has potential, but it needs side doors, even if just 3, (sides and back), with the back as normal garages open, and sides opening upwards (like on a set of hinges which lock into place at certain points). Change it’s face to a a more serious-grin/serious-smile like, and the curve to allow for comfortable hand rests and protection by having space in case of accidents, and you’ve got a car that’s just slightly wider, looks better, and with a small engine, because it’s not that heavy, it will still accelerate fast unless carrying too much.

Also, by not having a radio+antenna, and other gimmicks, but some cheap 5+1(bass) speakers with a headphones jack (for phones, for example), you’d still be able to listen to your favorite music, or radio, while driving. The antenna can also be a cheap one, if needed, and be inside the car (or 3 inside the car, for better signal). Give it a propane engine, and you’ve got yourself a good bang for the buck in terms of fuel, too. No need to go electric, but it’s possible, at a (much) higher price. It can have auto or manual gearbox, with a shift stick small and in the front of the car, where the hand rest is (retractable, as in rotating 90 degrees to fit between the car seats).

Since then, attempts were made, but nothing managed to pull it off, like electric cars did thanks to Tesla.

Someone could even make a 1-person or 2-person camping trailer or small cargo trailer. Here’s an example of camping trailers:

Add to that a place to add some dirt for a rocket mass heater, and you’re set.

I have a few more ideas, but I’m too bored to write about it. If anyone’s curious, you know where to find me.

One last thing…
