“People ignore design that ignores people” — Frank Chimero. This quote defines my approach to UX. I have a background in libraries and care deeply about access to information and inclusive design meant for everyone, regardless of where they are starting. My early work with the community-led library model had a deep impact on my professional outlook and I believe it intersects perfectly with what UX design is all about — talking with actual users, listening to what they say and how they prioritize pain points and goals, and then taking that information and working with users to design smarter, more effective products and services.
