You’ve been promoting your profile like a rockstar, and have started getting requests on Wisio. Now what?

It’s crucial to be in the mindset that each fan request has the makings for a long-term relationship between the two of you. View each request not as a single question, but as the first interaction out of many. Your audience wants to know they can come again and again, so you need to show them how you can provide them ongoing help and support.

Here are the four components that make for the best responses:

  1. The Intro: Treat each new request as a consultation for a series of coaching/mentoring sessions. When responding to your first request from a fan, provide them with initial feedback or advice, and an invitation to come back for more. Let them know how you can help beyond this specific question, and how you see yourself guiding them in “The Long Run” by sharing “The Follow Through” with them and always assigning them a “Challenge” to complete.
  2. The Follow Through: Outline how many sessions you believe they should start with, what you will cover in upcoming sessions, and how they can expect to improve. Ask them what their aspirations are so you can set measurable goals with them.
  3. The Challenge: Provide them with a challenge to complete in every session. Let them know they can show you their progress by submitting a new request, and that you hope to hear back from them within a specified amount of time.
  4. The Long Run: For every subsequent request you get, commend them on their efforts and give them feedback on their improvements. Then, give them more challenges and suggestions, and encourage them to return to continue sharing their progress. Show them you’re here for the long run, and you want to see them succeed.

The ability to take one request and turn it into a multi-session program makes a huge impact on your audience, and your ability to turn being there for your followers into a living.

Keep this in mind on all of your requests, and you’ll see more and more of your followers come back to you.
