Secured Finance is excited to announce its expansion to the Arbitrum network. Following our successful launch on Ethereum Mainnet, this move marks a significant step in our journey towards inclusivity and efficiency in the DeFi space.

Why Arbitrum?
Arbitrum, a Layer 2 solution of Ethereum, is known for its reduced gas costs, DeFi activities, and efficient processing. This aligns perfectly with our goal of making DeFi accessible to a broader audience. This shift to Arbitrum is in response to community feedback and our commitment to offering cost-effective trading solutions.
Product Offerings and Asset Portfolio on Arbitrum
As we transition to Arbitrum, we maintain nearly all the features and functionalities of our Mainnet offering. This includes our robust asset options for collateral and trading, such as USDC, ETH, and WBTC. However, axlFIL will not be part of our initial Arbitrum launch. Our goal is to ensure a seamless user experience, with the primary change being the network switch and the exclusion of axlFIL.
User Experience
The platform’s user interface remains unchanged, retaining its intuitive and user-friendly design. Here is how you can add the Arbitrum network to your setup.
- Click on your “Metamask” icon
2. Click on Network.
3. Click on “Add network”
4. You can add “Arbitrum One” from the list or you “Add a network manually” and fill in with the details below.
5. Approve the network.
6. Once you have added the network, you can alternate between Ethereum Mainnet or Arbitrum.
Launch Timeline
The Global Itayose process for the first four orderbooks will commence on January 12th (Friday), with the market opening set for January 18th. Subsequent orderbooks will follow a pattern of a two-day Itayose period, with the market opening on the third day.
