Singapore, February 2nd, 2024 — We are excited to announce that the Crypto Analysis Transaction Visualization (CATV) tool now supports wallet addresses from six additional networks: Avalanche (AVAX), Dash (DASH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Polygon (MATIC), Fantom (FTM), and Zcash (ZEC). This expansion complements our existing support for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and ERC-20 tokens, Binance Coin (BNB), Cardano (ADA), Litecoin (LTC), TRON (TRX), EOS (EOS), Stellar (XLM), Ripple (XRP), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

Users across all these networks can now register for access to the Sentinel Portal and begin tracking transactions for their respective wallet addresses. The CATV tool not only provides access to the Threat Intelligence Database (TRDB), which contains over 60 million crowdsourced security indicators; it also plays a vital role in combating Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing. Additionally, it aids various entities and organizations within the decentralized ecosystem in conducting thorough investigations into malicious activities. This is crucial in fighting against fraudsters, scammers, and hackers who negatively impact both the decentralized ecosystem and its users.

About the Crypto Analysis Transaction Visualization (CATV) Tool

The Crypto Analysis Transaction Visualization (CATV), developed exclusively by Uppsala Security’s expert team, serves as a sophisticated yet seamless forensic tool that offers in-depth insights into cryptocurrency transaction flows. This tool is designed to trace both inbound and outbound transactions linked to a specific wallet. CATV empowers users to effectively track, analyze, monitor, and graphically visualize cryptocurrency transactions, highlighting the flow of tokens and their interactions with various entities like exchanges and smart contracts.

CATV’s functionality is pivotal in identifying suspicious transaction activities, such as tumbling, mixing, or interactions with blacklisted or suspicious wallet addresses tagged in Uppsala Security’s Threat Intelligence Database (TRDB). This capability is crucial in helping users avoid transactions with entities linked to cybercrime, thereby preventing inadvertent involvement in activities like Money Laundering or Terrorist Financing. Moreover, CATV is instrumental in conducting detailed investigations into incidents and malicious activities.

The tool operates on user-generated queries, running them as batch processes for continuous analysis of submitted cryptocurrency addresses. This analysis can be accessed through CATV’s user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) or its application programming interface (API), catering to a diverse range of user preferences and technical requirements. This combination of advanced technology and user-centric design positions CATV as an essential tool in the domain of cryptocurrency security and compliance.

Transaction flows within the Crypto Analysis Transaction Visualization (CATV)

The Crypto Analysis Transaction Visualization (CATV) tool has already been used in high-level investigation such as the Ledger Connect Kit Incident, The Raft Protocol Exploit or the Africa Cyber Surge II Operation. The latter was led by INTERPOL and AFRIPOL and successfully tackled the cybercrime surge in Africa, resulting in the arrest of 14 suspected cybercriminals and the identification of a staggering 20,674 suspicious cyber networks.

Private investigators, cybersecurity researchers, government officials, Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs), legal experts, police authorities, law and tax firms, as well as active participants in the Web3 ecosystem, can all derive significant benefits from utilizing the Crypto Analysis Transaction Visualization (CATV) tool. To access the advanced capabilities of CATV, we invite you to visit and register on the Sentinel Portal.
