Sentinel Chain can be used to identify and verify livestock ownership and offers a solution that enables the unbanked to unlock the value in their livestock assets through livestock insurance and collateralized loans. Sentinel Chain provides a scalable marketplace by connecting the local unbanked communities and giving them access to new forms of offshore financial services previously unavailable to them.

Sentinel Chain in Bangladesh: Sentinel Chain’s partners in Bangladesh will utilize the Sentinel Chain platform and technology for the tagging of livestock and facilitating livestock insurance. Although 89.3% of households in Bangladesh own livestock, farmers in Bangladesh face difficulties in meeting the loan eligibility criteria as livestock is not recognised as an “asset”. As a result, these farmers are forced to use informal credit houses and borrow at very high interest rates.
Through a cooperation with local loan and insurance providers, Sentinel Chain will be able to solve the real problem of measuring the accurate value of farmer’s livestock assets. The partnership with Sentinel Chain will bridge the unbanked farmers to the network of FintruX loan providers who can provide loan services on the Sentinel Chain platform.
The collaboration between FintruX and Sentinel Chain expands both of our ecosystems. FintruX’s loan providers will gain access into the Sentinel Chain network and the borrowers in the Sentinel Chain B2B marketplace. This is done by converting FTX into SENC. This collaboration opens the doors for a whole new customer base, while greatly strengthening the utility of the FTX token!
