The old adage tells us that a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, but the truth is, we can all appreciate the love we feel when our partner puts in effort to make us a delicious meal. In fact, according to a survey of 2,000 people by Farm Rich, 64 percent said food is their love language and 61 percent use their love of food as a bonding experience. Also, 70 percent of people said this love will cause them to pretend to enjoy a meal so they don’t hurt their partner’s feelings and 32 percent will feel hurt if their partner forgets their favorite meal.

Feeling the Love From Food

Whipping up a good meal to express love is far from uncommon, so it’s not surprising that 48 percent of people surveyed said they express their love for someone by cooking their favorite meal.
