The Great Bacon Day Debate: Is Bacon Better Than Sex?
According to one survey, it is
December 30 is Bacon Day, which is definitely a holiday that I can completely get behind. But is bacon better than sex? For me, the jury is still out on that one.
But a study of about 1,000 Canadians found that for 43 percent of them, given the choice between bacon and sex, they would choose the bacon.
Bacon lovers said when they do have sex, they do it better.
Even the company that commissioned the study, Maple Leaf Foods, said they were surprised by the results. “We wanted to probe how deeply rooted Canadians’ passion for bacon is — and the For the Love of Bacon survey sure opened our eyes!” said Adam Grogan, who was the company’s VP of Marketing at the time.
Despite reporting that they would choose bacon over sex, bacon lovers said when they do have sex, they do it better. In fact, 82 percent of bacon lovers claim that they’re good in bed and 81 percent said they are also romantics.
