How to dual mine Ethereum and Kaspa with Simple Mining

Although it is not possible to dual mine Ethereum and Toncoin anymore a new contender has come into action a few days ago. Kaspa coin is the new coin that you can mine at the same time as you mine Ethereum and even Ethereum Classic.

This article will show you how to quickly start dual mining these two coins using AMD or Nvidia GPUs.

How to start dual mining in Simple Mining

First let’s get a Kaspa wallet, for that we will use the only wallet available at this time which is wallet.kaspanet.io. Remember to save your seed phrase in a safe place as you might need it one day to recover your wallet.

The second step is to find a mining pool that supports kaspa coin mining, there are a few mining pools that support this coin. For this example, we will use kaspapool however you can use also woolypooly or accpool.

It goes without saying that at this point you should also already have prepared a pool and wallet for Ethereum or Ethereum Classic in order to dual mine it together with Kaspa.

Now that we have everything ready we just need to enter the miner configuration in Simple Mining, for that we will use lolminer as it supports dual mining these two pairs and others.

You can find an example for dual mining Ethereum and Kaspa on Ethermine and Kaspapool down below:

Remember to replace $walletETH and $walletKASPA with your Ethereum and Kaspa wallet addresses.

Down below is another example only this time it will be for Ethereum Classic and Kaspa, again using the same mining pools.

Remember to replace $walletETC and $walletKASPA with your Ethereum and Kaspa wallet addresses.

You can also dual mine ERG and KASPA however instead of using lolminer we will have to use srbminer but the overall procedure will be the same.

After you created the group config in simple mining all you have to do is assign the group to your mining rig and we recommend that you reboot the rig and watch the console and the hashrate as it will show two different hashrate, one for the first coin and the other for kaspa.

Please note that dual mining will require more power usage and you will have to adjust the overclock settings of your mining rig.
