Upala at Panvala

Panvala is a donor-driven platform that helps fund the work that the whole Ethereum community depends on. Its batch 3 of token grants will be released on August 2. For this batch, anyone can request test tokens and vote on what work gets funded. The voting round will start on July 19, and will last until July 26.

Upala has made it to batch 3 candidates! If you would like Upala to be funded please request Test Tokens and vote for the Upala proposal!

The first 100 people who tweet a request for test tokens (and actually use those tokens to vote) will each receive 1000 ‘real’ PAN tokens.

If you are new to Ethereum here is a short instruction for you:

  1. Install Metamask extension for your browser and create an account.
  2. Request some free Rinkeby Ether here by posting a tweet or a facebook post with your Ethereum address copied from Metamask. You can delete those posts afterwards.
  3. Request free voting tokens from Panvala by tweeting the same Ethereum address as in the previous step. This step may require a day. Or maybe it is already automatic. Try the next step in a minute.
  4. Go to https://rinkeby.etherscan.io/ and search for your Ethereum address. You should see a transaction like the one highlighted here. If there is noting new come back later.

5. Go to http://app.panvala.com/ballots and allow interaction with Metamask.

6. Select Panvala Awards Committee as your first choice and the other slate as your second choice and click Confirm and Submit.
